Electronic Claims Submission:

Submitting claims electronically will expedite your claims payment. When submitting claims electronically to AEI, use the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) payer Name and ID#. If you use a clearinghouse, direct them to send AEI claims following the exact format used for BCBSAZ claims. IMPORTANT: To ensure your electronic claims are routed correctly to AEI, your patient's group ID number must be in the group ID field. This is an alpha-numeric PPO number (i.e. ABC123) located on the patient's ID card.
